Re: 8up's backpack hopper -
December 27th, 2009
i ran the same dimppled, crap 1 1/2 year old paintballs through over 500,000 times (not a typo) did over 100 jumping jacks and just for s#!ts and giggles threw the whole system about 5 feet in the air about 11 times and not one ball break. also there is another guy running around with one of these and he only had one ball break in over 5 years. the only reason why he had a ball break was because he got shot in the hose so he put the hose inside the winds of the remote line and hasen't had a problem yet. believe it or not it is at least 10 times lighter than a tac ten vest when it's fully loaded. it's because of the design of the backpack. as restriction with the hose, there is no more restriction than a remote. anyone can use this system but i built it because im one of the heavy gunners for my team. i have an ATS marker that is mag fed so i have a momentary switch on my gun that i press when i need more balls which gets rid of my hopper and now i have a much lighter gun. if you want to use the system for a hopper i can design it to automaticly fill the hopper as you shoot with no buttons or switches and if for some reason you have a problem with the hopper system you can still fill your hopper with pods.
